BlondeKajun Posted January 13, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 13, 2020 I do regular casino cruises on a Carnival but next month will be the first time doing one on Royal Carribean. I usually charge my slot play to room with no fees with Carnival. Will Royal charge the 3% for charging to credit card? thanks!
Casino Comp Chick Posted January 13, 2020 #2 Share Posted January 13, 2020 If you booked with URComped you will not pay the fee, if you booked on your own yes you will pay the fee. The fee is waived when you are Prime status 2500 points ($5.00 per point slots, $10.00 per point video poker, table games unknown point accumulation). In the past, if you took money from the cashiers cage to use in the slots, tables or really wherever you would be charged 5%. Now on many of the ships you have the ability to insert your seapass card directly into the machine and access your account and load money on the machine. In doing it this way 3 weeks ago on Oasis we were not charged the 5% fee
normannna Posted January 13, 2020 #4 Share Posted January 13, 2020 Oasis actually refused to give money at the cashiers desk if it was for slots. We got it at the machine and didn't get charged.

I asked at the cage and was told to get it at the machine, 2 minutes later I was back at the cage with a cash out ticket for the exact amount I asked her for the first time.
