lovingretirement Posted January 19, 2020 #2 Share Posted January 19, 2020 We did a cruise on the Legend out of Dover and loved the cruise and the ship. We used the National Express Bus from London to Dover for about 5 pounds each. There were a number of people on the bus headed to the cruise terminal in Dover. I talked to the driver, and he took us to the port. We didn't have to touch our luggage, and the bus was so comfortable. Of course, we gave the driver a good tip. It saved us a taxi ride from the station to the port. Hope you enjoy your cruise on the Legend as much as we did!!!

As to the food...I find the food to be the same on each ship...pretty much! If you mean England..We will find out at the same time!
TomCruise48 Posted January 21, 2020 #4 Share Posted January 21, 2020 Carnival pretty much uses the same menu in Europe that they use in the US. European cruises are typically 9 to 12 days so to add a little more variety, they tend to resurrect some of their older menu items that are not used on shorter cruises. The Legend is a Spirit Class ship. Not too big and easy to get around. This is my favorite class of ship, an opinion shared by several others. Even though you are not sailing until 2021, the Legend will be in Europe this year as well. If your 2021 itinerary matches one of the 2020 itineraries, you may want to look at one of the 2020 Roll Calls that has the same itinerary to get more timely information.
