that's a typo sorry.

My tier is being honored until 12/31/2021 instead of 06/30/2021. That's an additional six months.

Still good either way ... makes up for the lost time for sure.  Maybe they will even consider a further extension considering they are still suspended for the foreseeable future.

Sounds about right, if anyone has a cancelled cruise, give BCC a call, ask for extension and see what they say.

Has anyone received a promotion from Celebrity Clue Chip offering a free cabin on about 60 different dates? Except then I got an email that there was such a demand it would be 2 weeks before someone would be able to contact me about the cruise. Any one have a direct contact, that is still there?

bluechipclub@celebrity.com, they recently responded to my two emails within less than two hours; worth a shot

We received this offer.  There was an option of listing top 3 choices and someone would call back.  2 days later got an email that my choices were being processed and someone would call me for confirmation before May 25.  I later decided to bite the bullet and just call to schedule.  I was on hold for about 35 minutes and did book an 11 day on Reflection balcony for cost of taxes.  Since my husband had the same offer we also booked a 7 day infinite balcony on Apex for cost of taxes.  Needless to say...no perks included other than casino tier level money.

Thanks for sharing and congrats!  Yeah, BCC doesn't include extras, you cannot stack with either the shareholder credit or the MLife $125-$300 OBC.  Yet X does offer pre-cruise free play at a 5% discount and often offers $5 in free play in the mornings.  However if your MLife is high enough you might receive a fixed $$$ off any booking and it's up to you if you book the perks.  NCL, while lesser than X, casino dept allows booking of perks and can be stacked with the shareholder OBC.

Just got off the phone, took 27mins to get a rep, after giving my info the rep had to put me on hold to determine which replacement sailings they could offer yet my offers are based on MLife play, I did not receive an email offer.  Said I qualified for any sailing in a veranda with the exception of the Galapagos until March 2021.  I asked when they closed, he said while technically 7pm the majority of reps are off at 6pm CST.  He also said there will be a restructure and hours could change sooner than later.  Doing research now, I really want the Greek Isles yet one of the most expensive cruises (base fare nearly $7K/person) they offer are two that go through the Panama Canal (San Diego to FLL and in reverse) they're also easy flights.

Datapoint that BCC bookings currently qualify for Lift and Shift!

Booked the October 15 day panama canal corner family veranda, my best guess is there's only a 20% chance this sailing will happen without a closed port or San Diego allowing disembarkment and I'll probably lift and shift it to 2021.

For those who got the BCC promotion, how much of a deposit did you have to put down? Our cruise was $240 in taxes for both of us, yet they say the a deposit of $900 is due within 5 days. Am I missing something?

In my paperwork, I got the same yet my balance due is $0.  I asked my rep at the time who confirmed it's just fees and taxes.  You're welcome to call on Monday for more piece of mind.

That makes no sense...if your cruise is free, you only need to pay taxes.  That's what we paid.

The regular reps are making these bookings...misspelled our names several times before getting it right.

Guessing this is what he's talking about.  I only booked myself, will book my girl later if this actually sails; charges $450/person or $900/couple.  I grayed out what appears to be an unique code, screenshot is from the booking confirmation pdf.  I have zero concern I owe anything, I think there's a little bit of growing pains at BCC due to losing some top talent.  Previously, when talking to anyone at BCC I didn't ever get put on hold, currently, on both my calls last week  I was put on hold several times as the reps couldn't answer what appeared to be simple questions and ultimately to get the booking, the rep said "it wasn't accepting the code, I have to get a manager to clear this" and was put on hold again.  With that being said, everyone I spoke to was friendly, helpful and I couldn't be happier with the end results.

Anyone have a suggestion on how to reach BCC or have a contact's email address? I spent 1 1/2 hours on hold and got disconnected twice trying to pay for a cruise booked through the casino.

Have you tried logging on to your Celebrity account. Mine shows there with the option to make the Final Payment.

  • 4 weeks later...

Does BCC give certificates at the end of the cruise? I doubt I'll make Amethyst on seven day sailing with my kids.

ETA: I average $2500-$3K coin-in on slots a day.
