Muster Drill on Norwegian Jewel?

We're sailing from Seward to Vancouver in Sept, 2020.

Does anyone know if these are generally held inside?

We're on deck 9, if that makes a difference (# 9078).

They're generally indoors.  On my last trip, my muster station was inside Bliss nightclub.  Not enough seats, so many were standing.  If having a seat is important, get there early.

Yes all inside, different rooms for different decks/areas.

Every NCL ship I have sailed on, in the last several years, has the muster drills indoors. Yes, if your location is one of the lounges, get there early to get a seat. If it's in the theater, there is usually plenty of room.

Great to know that NCL no longer has Muster Drills outside.   It is bad enough having to wait for a large number of late comers inside and sitting rather than outside and standing as it used to be.

Depends on the ship and possibly your location -  been on the Jewel twice and it was inside.  I believe it was outdoors on the Spirit in London and it was freezing cold.  Learned my lesson: check the location ahead of time and take a jacket if it's outside!

We have been inside on all the Jewel class ships, but were outside on the Sun, Sky and POA.

Well,,, the person posting was incorrect. The small ships still muster outside.

Recent September sailing of the JEWEL - same route - Haven cabin - muster station in O'Sheehans.

 

Remember ELEVATORS are out of service for the muster drill - go early if you no like stairs - AND

afterwards WAIT awhile while the crowds clear out.

Handicap Wheel Chair scooters - you get a pass to use the Elevator

 

Regarding muster drills on outside decks - if you are in a wheel chair scooter or have a medical need

indoor muster locations are available ASK for assistance - Re: the SUN handicap muster location was

either the Windjammer Bar deck 6 or around the corner in what was formerly Dazzles now the Bliss lounge.

Otherwise on the SUN the muster drill is outside on the Promenade deck right under the life boats.

Caution - do not stand under the LOUD speakers - after 7 short and 1 long signal you will be deaf -
