Casino open in port

Recommended Posts

Nope....but there is a casino on Paradise Island, at Atlantis!  They are very slow to pay out at the cages, so allow enough time to collect any winnings!

While docked in Nassau, is the casino open?  I know they have been open in some ports.  Thank you.

If the ship is there late the casino will open at 7:00 pm

The ship casino will generally open about 7 or 8 pm, even if your departure from Nassau  is later. As noted, it will be closed during the day.

If you like a casino, check out the Baha Mar on Cable Beach.

enjoy

I agree with cruisegirl11 the BaHa Mar casino is beautiful and a nice change.  You can take the number 10 or 12 bus for $1.25 each way.  If time allows check it out.

To open at 7:00 pm the ship will had to go to CocoCay as per local regulations. However sometimes the port agent will get the ship an exemption but it will always be 7:00 pm.

This is part of the reason that the Casino cannot open in CocoCay any more. The ship used to tender, now it docks so the regulations are different.

We were on the shortened Harmony cruise in September due to the hurricane. It ended up just being a 3 night cruise with the only port being Nassau. The casino was open while we were in Nassau which I thought was odd. I don’t recall what time of the day I noticed it open.
