Wow.  Yes are correct. Thank you .

Corrected with edit !

I guess fewer PAX will be complaining about "the same ports, over & over again. We cruise out of Galveston a lot. Also we used to cruise from Bayport TX & in the 90's from the "old" port of Houston. We have taken 2 TA'S that involve Gal. Nav. of the Seas Barcelona to Gal. & Vision, Gal to Barcelona. 11/05/20 Repo: Bayonne to Gal. 01/24/31 Panama Canal. 3 1/2  hours drive to the port. Love It!!!

People will still complain. Especially with Allure doing only 3 ports year round. Liberty is only doing two itineraries. I remember the days when Galveston had no ship year round and everybody swore even if they got a Sovereign class ship they’d be happy 😂

You have it right Lee. The Adventure is scheduled to sail from Galveston to Copenhagen in April 2021.

Ah, well, that was quick. If John is listening, I agree with him about the happy ports.

Having said that, I have family in Houston and am happy that they have more ships & itineraries in Galveston to choose from.

I like choices!

Thanks. Looking forward to sailing Liberty this spring, but I'm going for the ship.

Liberty was my first love. First ship I sailed on back in 2007 when she was out of Miami and the newest & biggest in the fleet.

Most recently, sailed on her in Nov 2018. While she lacks the flashiness of the newer and recently AMP'd ships, she is aging well.   Although that just might be nostalgia talking. Enjoy!

And if look just a little further to the middle of January 2022 you could add these ports to the list as they are being visited by the Carnival Radiance:

Amber Cove, Dominican Republic

San Juan, Puerto Rico

St. Thomas, USVI

St Kitts, WI

St. Maarten, NA

Tortola,British Virgin Islands

Lets cut to the chase, Allure's normal routing will be Cozumel, Routan, and Costa Maya.

The Adventure will  be doing the first time cruiser route, Cozumel, Costa Maya or Yucatan on 4/5 day cruises.

From Galveston on Royal, no more Grand Cayman (do not think Oasis class can tender) , Jamaica or even an attempt to go to Royal's private port in the DR. Other than a couple one ways, these are boring routes out of Galveston.  Looking forward to being on the Allure, not excited about the destinations it is going too.

Royal had to bring over the Adventure to keep up with the Carnival Dream in the competition for first time cruisers to Cozy and back. Smart decision.

As of right now, Carnival has the more exciting routes leaving Galveston in comparison to Royal.

Royal and Carnival are being more competitive!

Yes Allure of Seas has  recurring itineraries.

First timers will love them !

Even seasoned cruisers will love them for the ship.

When we want a get away, we will do Allure !

These recurring ones are very adequate itineraries though in Royals mission. .

But these other itineraries below,

are interesting for cruisers wanting variety in destinations and dates , other than Allure.

Especially when no flying is necessary,

or only one way flying is necessary .

Consider the b2b's possibilities with some of these to expand further your horizons.

Other Royal Caribbean itineraries (not including Galveston Carnival or Disney)

are following:
