Public Transportation from Port into Porto

Are there any ways to get into town on your own from the cruise port?  It would be great to know how often they run.  Someone mentioned that taxis are cheap, so that is an alternative.

It depends on where you dock.  If you get the right place you will be able to walk to the surface train which becomes a subway when it nears town.

Thanks for the information.  Not sure we are going to cruise this year with the coronavirus concerns.
