Thanks again to OP, was able to reprice (actually same price) but added $300 in OBC, while losing $100 in "beverage cards," so I consider that $200 in free money!

Wish I had seen this topic before booking......but.......

Deposit for cruise to Alaska made on 1/26.  Got several (4) different perks, one being and OBC thru the a 3rd party site.

Saw this post before making the final payment so I checked the price again through the 3rd pary site and the price hadn't changed.  This OBC showed up as well.  So I called last night and they said no.

Tried again today and they added it!  Persistence pays off.

 

OBC from 3rd party

OBC from HA

OB spending cash from HA

Gratuities paid (suite)

Discount on shore excursions (haven't done much research on these yet)

 

Ali McG will be livin' large off the Alaskan coast!

It will be our first Alaskan cruise and first on HA.

It was a no go for me....my cruise has gone up $448....and I would lose my beverage package worth $690...

We had a couple of options, ended up taking the $210 OBC.

I got mine refared to add the double OBC and I just checked it again today for a different reason and see my price has dropped $570.00  Been on hold for 45 minutes now.

HAL offered an advantage fare that dropped my pp price by over $1200. Lost $200 of the $400pp V&V and the gratuities $192 but still gained about $800
