1st time in Roatan

Cruising with Carnival in Feb 2021 and will be porting in Roatan for first time. Anyone done the island tour with Daniel Johnson's? Looks like you get island tour, stop at monkey/sloth hangout and then Las Palmas resort for lunch and beach. How much time do you get on beach??

 

Any recommendations?

Just wondering if anyone has used them. Would love to see the monkeys and sloths and West Bay Beach.

Carnival will dock at Mahogany Bay. It will take at least 40 minutes each way to West Bay.

 

That tour sounds a lot to fit in 5 hours. In checking the website it appears some locations are optional for a private tour. Depending on the size of your group I would check the minimum price for a private tour and also doubt that you would have time to cover all listed activities. 
 

Island Marketing are a broker and don’t run their own excursions, just administrator them. We have used them in other ports. In Roatan there are any number of transport operators regularly suggested on here that can customize your itinerary. 
 

You have plenty of time before your cruise I would suggest reading the last page or so of this forum for suggestions. Sloths and West Bay are the topics most discussed on here! Enjoy your first visit!

I found Bodden Tours has a Fun N Sun excursion that goes to monkey/sloths and West Bay beach. This is exactly what I would like to do. Any negative experiences with Bodden?
