Are there chairs on the outside promenade deck of the Nieuw Amsterdam? Recently was on the Koningsdam and they had none. Used to sail Holland and remember the teak wood lounge chairs under the life boats on the promenade deck.

Most of those lounges are now only available to those with "lanai" cabins on the promenade deck.  Occasionally, on some ships you will find one fore or aft in an obstructed view area.

Sad.  We miss those cushioned teak lounge chairs too!

Nieuw Amsterdam does not have lanai cabins. Yes ,there are chairs on her Promenade deck.

We were on NA earlier this month. Yes there were a bunch of completely unreserved deck chairs on the promenade deck. The NAs promenade is very nice and wide, our favorite place to walk.
