I'll have to take the flight from LGA to Toronto.

Is 11:50 flight doable?

or better take the next one at 14:45?

The 11.50 flight should be fine.

If you're flight is on a weekend you should be fine. LGA is under construction now and there is often lots of traffic getting into the various terminals during weekdays.

Oct. 2 is a Friday. Is the flight leaving LGA at 11:50 doable?

The traffic is supposed to be very bad on weekdays heading for LGA because of the construction there. I think if you've self-debarked at 9:00 am ish you should be alright.
