denys222 Posted January 28, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2020 Hi everyone, it's been a couple of years since i was last on this site. glad to see tons of info still available. We are booked on the Equinox Feb 22nd.When i visited Celebrity's check in site tonight, it shows i have a $200 on board credit. My e-travel agent also has me for $375 credits and pre-paid gratuities. Is the Celebrity $200 credit going to stay with me until we board the ship or is it going to expire before. Has anyone used this credit to buy specialty dining before boarding? Thanks. jelayne Posted January 28, 2020 #2 Share Posted January 28, 2020 It can be used before to purchase excursions, Speciality restaurants. Internet, etc. if you don’t spend it before you board it will be available to spend on the ship. OBC from Celebrity is non refundable so if you don’t spend it by the end of the cruise you lose it. denys222 Posted January 28, 2020 Author #3 Share Posted January 28, 2020 Thanks Jelayne , I see you have contributed quite a few post .You probably have an answer to my next question. Do i have the luxury of waiting until we are on board to book specialty dining or is it preferable to do it online .
Rare Jim_Iain Posted January 28, 2020 #4 Share Posted January 28, 2020 Both credits Refundable (from agent) and Non-Refundable can be used either prior to the cruise or during the cruise. The Celebrity credit is non-refundable and if not spent will be forfeited. Unused Refundable credits from your agent will be refunded to you at the end of the cruise if not used. Rare mom says Posted January 28, 2020 #6 Share Posted January 28, 2020 You can wait til you board to book specialty dining. But availability may be limited by then, especially if you want a specific time.
