Price the Carnival shuttle and then compare it to a mock booking for Uber or Lyft.
jmcancruise Posted January 29, 2020 #3 Share Posted January 29, 2020 If you are coming in the day before, renting a car is a good option. The drive is easy and gives you wheels to get around once you get there.

Whats the best way to get from Airport to Port? You are also posting on the wrong side of the country for your request-- theres a lot posted on the East Coast boards for this. I've found Uber/Lyft to be the easiest for this, especially with 2 or more people when you factor in the shuttle's per person pricing. It will be faster than the cruise line shuttle and will be less hassle than renting a car.
Langley Cruisers Posted January 29, 2020 #5 Share Posted January 29, 2020 (edited) Indeed, this thread may be moved to Florida departure board... OP, a ship's transfer is ALWAYS a more expensive option. Don't do it (unless you are traveling alone, then it might make sense). I recommend Cortrans shuttle - $20.00 from Airport to Port, and vice versa. We have used them and they are professional, courteous, on time, efficient. Easy peasy. https://www.cortrans-shuttle.com/ EDITED TO ADD: Just out of curiosity, I looked it up - the Carnival transfer is $35.99 per person! 😮 Wow. Whats the best way to get from Airport to Port? As mentioned above, the best option is a stretch limo with a stocked bar! 😎 Your more reasonable options are one way car rentals, shared shuttles from Cocoa Beach Shuttle, Cortrans and others for about $20+ per person, or Uber/Lyft. SteerageJoe Posted February 1, 2020 #11 Share Posted February 1, 2020 Best is obviously a private service of some kind - Limo, Private car/van, Rental Car, Uber/Lyft Cheapest depend on how many people. A rental car can actually be cheapest at times. With enough passengers even a private ride can be comparable in cost to shared rides. Shared rides are popular because those are generally cheaper and worry-free (as long as they show up on time) Here is a list of popular shared transportation companies:
