Communication onboard

Some cruise lines have an app that you can use to communicate with guest while on board the ship without paying for Wi-Fi.  Does anyone know if RCI has that option?

It is currently available only on Harmony and Allure.   It is scheduled to be rolled out fleet-wide by the end of the year.

The old app had that feature on a few select ships, but not many. I don't think the new app has it on any ships yet, but it has been discussed.

 

With the old app it was $8 per person, and was pretty limited. I believe they had to actually have the app open on their phone to get the notification

The old app no longer exists...  see my post above about the status of the new (and only) app.
