Our long cruises have been to the Caribbean, and I admit that the 3 days from the Azores can be tiresome when it's too cool to go outside for long periods and you're  looking forward to getting home. But if it was still warm weather I would be quite happy, and certainly not climbing the walls.

Haven't read all the posts apologies if duplicating, but we take:

 

Photos of passports and travel insurance docs (on phone)

pdfs of above (on phone)

details of British Embassies in countries visited (on phone)

receipts for all cruise payments made (on phone)

itinerary/details of any non-cruise ship excursions booked (paper & on phone)

names and addresses of family/friends for postcards

tiny screwdriver (for spectacles)

magnetic clips to hold things on cabin wall

towel clips 

very small first aid kit to take with us off the ship

moneybelt

Postcards... Excellent. 

Haven't sent one of them since Costa Brava about 1985...

I have an app that uses photos from my phone and sends them as postcards, makes them lovely and personal. I usually send myself one too and then use it as a bookmark, a reminder of my holiday. 

I already have my postcard credits ready for our June cruise.
