closest beach to carnival port :Havensight?

Trying to figure out which beach to go to for the day.  Never been to any of the Islands and this is our first port. I have 3 possibilities? Sapphire Beach, Honeymoon Beach, and Megan's Bay. 

Which would be the cheapest. I think we are the only ship there that day or maybe one other. Just looking to relax on a beautiful beach with a chair and a drink in hand. Any help for first timers to St. Thomas? TIA

Sapphire and Magens are the closest of the three, both are beautiful, we're biased toward Sapphire, gorgeous bay with beautiful water and island views. Amenities available + a beach bar...taxis are available at the port and at the beach for your return, Sapphire is $10/pp each way.

I would choose Sapphire. It is easy to get to, has nice ammenities and food, and isn't too crowded. Plus, there is no entry charge.

Sapphire is our favorite.  Love the views, the water, the beach bar, the vibe--everything.

How much are the chair rentals?   Is the cab $10 or $10pp?

All taxi fares are per person. To the OP, the CLOSEST beach to Havensight is Bolongo.
