CruiserBruce Posted February 13, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 13, 2020 Define "best". Private helicopter? Limo, with champagne? Some of this also depends on your mobility. It is commonly mentioned here that BART (subway) is pretty inexpensive, but you will need to walk (or get a cab or Uber) for a flat, little over a mile, walk, dragging your luggage, from the closest station to the Terminal. ATSEAMYLIFE Posted February 13, 2020 #3 Share Posted February 13, 2020 Personally, I have never seen BART as a good method with cruise luggage. Maybe just a carry on would be OK but not everything we usually take. I would UBER.

RSF Cruiser Posted February 13, 2020 #6 Share Posted February 13, 2020 We often fly into Oakland for a cruise and take Uber or Lyft. The airport is well marked for where you go to get your Uber/Lyft - when you walk out of the terminal, you go to the second or third "pick-up" island. It's fast, easy, reasonably priced, and we don't have to deal with the San Francisco Airport and worry about fog closing things up.
