jka Posted February 13, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 13, 2020 We're signed up for Pa'Ati Tours in Rangiroa but getting concerned about the "rough" ride for an hour each way as one of us has back issues. Any other suggestions on how to spend the day? Thanks!!

Go to the 'Aquarium' easy access, no rough ride 😉 I've done the tour with Pa'Ati to the Blue Lagoon, yes it was a rough ride on a small boat that had very little cushion 😉

amitje Posted February 15, 2020 #5 Share Posted February 15, 2020 I’ve searched for an alternative for the exact same reason. We’ve booked a relaxing day to the green lagoon with Rangiroa excursions, you can add snorkeling to that trip too.
Bizmark'sMom Posted February 16, 2020 #6 Share Posted February 16, 2020 If you have some time after your tour, find your way to Le Relaise Josephine. It's a bar with an absolutely fantastic deck overlooking Tiputa Pass. The local wine (grown on Rangiroa) is really good. (The photo is Bob, my travel buddy, with a glass of local wine on Josephine's deck.)
