Ship Dr. Coverage?

Yes, it does, but you must pay up front upon debarkation and submit the bills to your insurance.  We had first hand experience with this a few months back.  We had to file first with Medicare, then Medicare supplemental, then NCL insurance.  I found the NCL insurance through AON the easiest and fasted to deal with.  Medicare and the supplemental plan not so much.  Took months to get their denials.  Keep all receipts.

By the way, we now buy outside travel insurance which is primary.  Skips going through Medicare and supplemental.  Luckily we haven't had to use it.

If you use medical services on the ship, call your travel insurance company and notify them.  They will give you a claim number.  The hospital staff let my husband use the phone to call Nationwide when I got sick on the ship last year.
