Shuttle from Viking ship in Le Pecq to Paris

Recommended Posts

Does Viking offer any direct shuttle buses from docking area Le PEcq into Paris on first day of Seine river cruise?

Correct me if my memory is incorrect, but I think I have read on these boards that Viking's pickup point is the Winston Churchill statue near the Petit Palais, which is not far from the Louvre and Musee d'Orsay.

Please help me with my feeble recollections!!!!

You are correct. That is the pickup point.
the last shuttle back to the ship leaves about 4:30-5 pm.
I wonder when the OP says the first day of the cruise if you are referring to embarkation day or the first full day of the cruise?  If you are referring to embarkation day I do not think they provide shuttle service that day. Although I could be wrong. We took the “Welcome Walk” thru St Germaine en Laye on embarkation day after lunch and it was excellent!

I would encourage you to book on one of Viking Ships that will not dock in Paris!

Did you mean one that WILL dock in Paris rather than Le Pecq

Since we had been to Paris before and just spent 2 days in Paris, we quite enjoyed LePecq.  We went to the grocery by the docking place and Post Office.  We then walked up the hill to another little town, I forgot the name.  Had a very quaint Christmas Market with a booth that sold Fois Gras, and free samples--heaven.  Nice castle to look around, Starbucks if you must--good bathroom place.  After the hustle and bustle of Paris this was very nice.
