We are considering a 5 night cruise on infinity and I have a few questions

1. What are the specialty dining restaurants and what is the fee?

2. Cabin 8138 balcony - how's the location

3. Classic drink pkg - does this include wine by the glass in restaurants and frozen drinks

4 are renovations still scheduled for Nov 2020?

Thank you for your time !

The speciality restaurants are Sushi on 5, Tuscan Grill and I think Le Petit Chef at Qsine.

8138 is in a convenient location with cabins above & below so should be quiet.

The Classic Be reagent package includes beverages up to $9, including wine by tge glass in the dining room and restaurants.

ASFIK the revolution dates have not changed .

The CBP does include wine by the glass but the selection is very limited at $9 per glass. If you want better wines you could consider upgrading to the Premium Beverage package for about $10pppd, this will give you wines by the glass and frozen drinks up to $15. Much better wines for under $15 available.

I hope the revolution date is firm since we are booked on the Infinity next year.

The first night Specialty fee is often discounted.  Always ask for a discount before reserving.  We have NEVER paid 100%, although I understand that discounts are not always available.

We had the premium drink package, and I opted to go over for most wines, paying the difference.  As I understand, you can pay the difference as well with the classic package.  Most of the included ($9 and below) falls into the category of "not for me".  If you are eating a steak, they have a Caymus Cabernet by the glass for $28.  Very Good.

We have booked the Infinity 5 night in April.  I don't usually like 5 night cruises because they are over in a flash but that's all the time DH could spare until the fall.  Regarding the drink package, we booked with the Classic package perk but I upgraded us to the drinks and more package which is discounted 10% in the cruise planner.  The reason I went with this instead of the Premium package upgrade is because for 5 nights it practically pays for itself after the casino credit of $50.  I upgraded both of us so that we could get the mini fridge and $100 casino credit.  By the time we get the $100 credit, the cost is equivalent to upgrading to the Premium package...of course it costs more when the length of your cruise increases.

We probably won't eat in a specialty because we don't really enjoy Tuscan and Le Petite Chef is a little too gimmicky for us.  Love So5 though.  Wish M class had Murano...
