There was AC and an overhead fan. Sadly, the overhead fan did not work because they were doing some repair or whatever of the electric stuff. I wanted the fan on, AC off, doors open. But it was not to be. That's OK. We mostly were on the beach lazing around or walking.

That looks like a wonderful splurge!  Like you I would probably have rather had the open air cabana, but would have "forced" myself to make do.  😁

 

The last time we were there was around the same time as you, but not for lack of trying.  We have booked two cruises since then and have not made it to the island due to being unable to tender.  Maybe next time!

The Beach area was lovely. The water was chilly but I did get submerged (inch by inch as is my way). We used our floats quite a bit. I loved the sight of the Bliss ever-present in the background.

The thing in the background of the last shot is the biplane I believe. Also threw one in there of Sistah showing off the fact that she is thinner than I am.

We took a break from pina coladas and floating around to go explore our neighbor, the Moet Bar. This was included in our PPBP. This is how close it was--view from in front of our Villas. It's the circular building on the right.

The bartender poured us HUGE glasses of the stuff. The glasses were larger than they look here--she basically poured an entire bottle in the two glasses. I actually could not even finish mine! Sistah picked up the slack.
