ms Rotterdam in Port Everglades February 24, 2020

Recommended Posts

Another side note regarding Silver Wind.  We are so use to seeing much larger ships dominate the Rotterdam, isn't it strange to see how small the Silver Wind is next to the Rotterdam?  Silver is less than 1/3 the tonnage and is 2 years older ('95 vs '97).

Ready for Rotterdam now.

I think Rottie is moving - we need a zoom, please!

Thank you!😀

Looking lovely.. so elegant and stately.

Shes the only ship in the current fleet I haven’t sailed on.

I finally did - last year Jan/Feb - out of Tampa.

You ought to try to do so.  Her decor is superior, in my opinion, to Amsterdam.  A replica of the mural in the aft Lounge on Rotterdam V is at the front of Rotterdam's MDR.  She was built to be a Grand World Voyage ship and her decor shows that.

They should have left her in Tampa this season IMHO.  The fares going thru the Panama Canal are low in comparison.

Well done Rotterdam.  Thanks Kathi, Lou & Dave, and fellow addicts, especially for being my eyes and ears while I can't get the webcam.
