Quick question about cabin

That would be my assumption.  You can go to NCL.com and look up the name of your ship and see deck plans.  A mock booking of any cruise on the same ship would allow you to see the cabin numbers.  There might be a more easy way to do that, or you could google the ship and cabin number to do your research.

Just a silly question about my cabin. I started with midship balcony and was upgraded to large balcony 12854 AFT starboard. Does this mean we are closer to the back of the ship, instead of midship because of “aft”?

Yes, that is what aft means. You can easily check the cabin location by looking at the deck plan of the ship (which ship?) online.

Thank you for your quick replies! You guys are awesome. I am so happy that I found this board. I read it every day and have gotten so much helpful information. Honestly, I really feel that my cruises are better because I am so prepared. All thanks to all of you. 😍

Does help when asking HELP or questions about a cabin - Please note the ship name -

The cabin number you are referring to maybe and usually is on more than one ship huge large small.

A casual way to view this - look at where the elevators stairs are located -

in a general sense - aft of the aft most stairs elevators is AFT

forward of the forward most stairs elevators is FORWARD

Now anything in between is MID-SHIP -

Most anything centering around the Atrium of a ship is MID-SHIP
