jerseyjjs Posted February 27, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 27, 2020 I watched a walk-through video on the Sky and the narrator claimed one could make sports wagers in the casino. Does anyone know if that's possible?......also, is there any bars/lounge on board that will have the NCAA March madness basketball games shown on TV? TIA. I was on the Bliss during the World Series and couldn't find a TV anywhere that had the game on, I'd be shocked if they had NCAA basketball and if they do I just don't understand why they have that and not the championship series for a major pro sport. During NFL season, NCL has box pools in the casino on some ships. But that's the only sports betting I've seen on any cruise ship. Not sure about March Madness, but it depends on what TV channel the games are on and if the ship gets that channel(s). I would not count on it. If you need to watch, better to spring for the unlimited internet with streaming and watch on your phone/tablet.
KarlChilders Posted February 27, 2020 #4 Share Posted February 27, 2020 We were on the Escape from Miami during the first week of March Madness in '18 and O'Sheehans had games on all day. As others have said though, other sports are often not available. This year on Getaway on NCAA conference championship weekend for football, there was nary a game available, but they did show NFL games. Only sports betting we saw was a fill in the squares game for Monday night NFL.
geegee1 Posted February 27, 2020 #5 Share Posted February 27, 2020 Was just on Bliss, was saying how great if they had sports betting, even if it was just for games they were showing. Was surprised that they had the NBA All Star Game on. Also through the Sports24 feed had some regular season NBA and NHL games on, besides the usual soccer. Glad there wasn't any cricket this time
