Millennium in Honolulu today

We’re on vacation in Waikiki and noticed the Millie was docked here. We can see it from our balcony. Are any passengers getting on here?? Just wondering what’s the scoop on this?

She's on her way to port in San Pedro, then San Francisco before she starts her Alaska season. In March Millennium will do several complimentary Cruises for Heroes before she does any Revenue cruises. Kudos to Celebrity and the whole Royal Caribbean family for offering these.

There’s a tremendous amount of kudos due to Celebrity here. The free mini-cruises for Heroes is great fro those that apply, great PR for X, and gets the all the hotel crew up and running again. Regards the latter, while I’m not saying they’ve had nothing to do while repositioning from Singapore, I’d like to think they’ve had some well deserved time off (in between deep cleaning, repairing and training exercises no doubt). A sort of thank you for recognising their personal risk of being in a high health risk area.

Yes, it has been a long time since passengers were cut short of cruising and unloaded in Singapore. Good to see that Milly has been in HNL for the last 2 days.. Not sure how much longer...    The Spectrum of the Seas transited (empty) south to Sydney Australia, and is currently on a free 4 day, first responders cruise for those involved in the now mostly extinguished wildfires, (bushfires), around  Australian states.. Another one starts this week, and it is reported that a third "cruise to no-where" will follow that... Great that RCI and X are winning a lot of new friends by providing this break to wonderful volunteers across the world... Hopefully, though, all the losses the companies,  and stock-holders will be experiencing this year will be rewarded later bythe goodwill gained..

Has now moved from Honolulu to anchor at Lahaina...   Presume is still sailing to nowhere, and  without passengers?

Had not heard of that.  Great for Celebrity to do that.  Hope many people get to take advantage of it.

Just saw the Millennium this morning cruising by as I was at the pool. She was in Lahaina yesterday so I assume she’s now heading out to sea.

Just had a look at AIS... They have Milly now heading at a relatively slow speed to next port of Ensenada..

Just booked the cruise for Heroes tonight. Short 2 night to Ensenada in March 23, balcony room, everything covered, beverages, wifi, gratuity.  Looking forward to a short getaway.

Love the Millie...all refurbished so you will definitely enjoy your 2nt getaway. Have a wonderful cruise....
