It might be worth it if you are planning to spend some $$ on shore excursions or spa or something else on board.

I do wonder if anyone knows if you can use this non-refundable OBC to leave your tips for Butler & Concierge?  (I recall some debate on other threads regarding using OBC.  Something like you could go to Service Desk and have them credited for the tip.)

Good question on use of NR OBC for butler/concierge tips.  That is what we plan on using some of ours for.  We will also have an additional $100 from our recent purchase of NCLH stock. I am wondering if the OBC from stock purchase is considered refundable or non-refundable and if it can be used for whatever we want?

Interesting.  I upgraded last week from a BD to MD when the price dropped to $300 less than I had booked the BD.  Today I see the $280 OBC but the price went up $600! Guess I will stay where I am. Final payment is not until the end of April. Anything can happen, I suppose.

Thanks for this post ... we booked our cruise many many months ago and pricing has increased then decreased, but never to the point that it was less than what we paid.  (4 cabins for a 47th vow renewal anniversary)  Today we paid an extra $20 each for 3 cabins but gained a total of $140 in OBC for each ... it was a wonderful gift for all ... and they all got 250 minutes wifi.  One of our children with spouse and MIL booked a mini suite ... They got an extra $280 and got a few $ back for a rate decrease.

Thanks to all ... I'm a happy camper  ...  over $700 savings!   Jan

Also wondering in the non-refundable OBC they are giving on this promo would pay the net price of CruiseNext certificates🤔

I am fairly certain that NR-OBC can be used towards cruise next certs.  Would appreciate if someone who knows for sure would chime in.

NCLH stock OBC is non-refundable.

Thank you.  So, what can you not use non refundable OBR for? I am assuming NROBR can be used for tips, gift shop, cruise next certs, excursions, among other things.  Are any of the items I have listed not eligible for use of NROBC?

NR OBC can not be used for the daily service charge.  You can use it for all the items you listed.

Got the extra $200 OBC on one cruise with no problems at all or changes

1 Cruise that’s past final payment they said I’ll have to add my 3rd person to the drink pkg and just pay the gratuities but still get the $200 OBC

Same With a 3rd Cruise that’s not past final payment yet

Thank You NCL now lets just hope you don’t get it all back in the casino

So, we have two Haven cabins booked on the May 31 sailing from NYC to Bermuda.  Both of these cabins would now get $600 OBC.  Does anyone have experience getting that applied to a booking that is already past final payment?  Thanks!

if you call them they will add it for you

I'll try again.  I called yesterday and no luck.  Have you had a positive result with this after final payment and with no price decrease?  Thanks!

My wife and I booked a cruise just a couple days before the new promotion came out.  We were able to "reprice" and get the $200 OBC.  The fare stayed the same thankfully.  Very happy to have caught this deal.

No, we booked last night with deposit only

Thanks.  🙂 I've been tempted to book another cruise with the new OBC offer, but reminding myself how much the prices have dropped after final payment.  I'm a hard-core planner and I like to book way in advance, but I'm going to have to change my ways.

NCL's pricing is so erratic yesterday our trip was $560 cheaper than what we paid with 12 cabins still available in our category today its $200 MORE than what we paid and still 12 cabins open. My guess is they upped the prices to cover the OBC credits...

I plan things out well in advance as well.  I have read rumblings about the price drop after final payment.  I fully understand that, but there is no way for us to vacation looking for "last minute" deals on sailings.  Too many factors that prevent it.  When I find the price that works for us far enough out we book it.  This also allows for me to get my panning hat on 🙂

I used to have to do the same thing when my son was in school.  Now that he's older, we have more flexibility.  One of the benefits that helps counteract our quiet house.  🙂

Yeah it is. Tried to get some friends to book with us yesterday on the Joy. Alaska - Aug 1, 2020. Yesterday an inside was $3007 and a balcony was $4365 all free perks and air. Today an inside is +$616 and a balcony is +$588 more. No longer super interested.

I bet by next week the prices will drop back down again

Glad I got my OBC added yesterday.

Between yesterday and today, one of the cruises I had been watching went up $105 per person for B1 Balcony.  The Mini-Suite M6 went up $140 per person.     Another cruise I had booked is same price today as yesterday.

Hope many of you got these promos booked yesterday, but still worth checking on your cruises just in case!
