Ocean Discovery Center

Who has been to the Ocean Discovery Center in Bermuda? It looks interesting on paper, but is it worth the trip? What is it near, and what is the best way to get there? We were also considering a tour that includes the aquarium, museum, and zoo. Any opinions on those places? Thanks a lot!

I have been there. It is basically geared towards education. Lot of local school groups visit. There was an interesting exhibit on the Bermuda Triangle last August. I believe it is ongoing. We visited since our ship was docked in Hamilton and we had some time to kill before departure. It is about a 15 minute walk from the ferry terminal in Hamilton. 
 

As for the aquarium and zoo you can easily do those on your own if they interest you by taking a public bus or taxi. No need for a tour.

It's been 2 years but our grandson loved it when he was 8. We took the feryy to Hamilton and the tram for the center was outside the ferry dock he was great took us to the center no charge (we tipped him). We then grabbed the bus on Front St. to the bus terminal the folk's everywhere are great and very helpful. We took the bus to the Zoo and got the bus after back to the terminal walk down the hill to the ferry. Great day. Tip though get the bus pass it covers the ferry as well and is worth it. Otherwise you need exact change (in coin) for the buses.
