Carnival is giving OBC to keep your booking from now until May 31st

I also have an onboard credit from a casino offer and from what I read it will be in addition to that. My cruise leaves Monday May 9th so you might get it closer to your cruise.  Since it does talk about cruises leaving today, I assume they sent these out to them earlier.

I booked a casino offer.  I called to get obc for price drop and was told no. Called back two days later and received $234 obc for the price drop. Plus another $150 if I don’t cancel.

I just went to look at my booking and it said this:

 

View cancellation information

If you cancel your booking today, the penalty amount would be $402.00.

 
 
 
So what am I doing wrong? Or os March 29th too far away? I doubt that.
Its a casino cruise offer. We're paying only taxes, port fees, and protection, and gratuities, so could that be why?

that wording is standard for all cruises. due to this new policy, it seems you have to call up carnival or your TA to cancel without a penalty

Can I ask who you called? The casino number or the Carnival number? They seem to no be connected.

Thank you. I've called and emailed my booking person and no response. I'll call direct to Carnival then.

Haven't gotten the email either, but one thing for sure we will be utilizing some of the $200 OBC at the Red Frog Pub & Red Frog Rum Bar. See you there! :classic_laugh:
