That sinking feeling

Lets lighten the mood. Your favourite ship?

Hi Paul:classic_smile: Century had a beautiful bar in the Rende Veux lounge...…..and she had lots of teak/wood:classic_smile:

Nothing like the "floating cities that are out there these days.

Ahh, lets think about this.  Of course, the Good Ship LollyPop.

Our favorite ship and favorite line that doesn't sail anymore:  Home Lines "Oceanic".

It has to be the Caribbean Princess. After  dry dock last year, it's just our place to be.

My 1st cruise on CCL in 1983 on the TSS Festivale holds great memories. Although aging now I love the Valor on CCL. But currently I like the Solstice on X. Have sailed Solstice and will sail Refection in November. Not a fan of NCL ships.

Definitely the Caribbean Princess. More so after last year's upgrade.

For ships that no longer sail I go with Rotterdam from the 1970’s and also SS France. , I was also a home lines fan.

Celebrity Xpedition.  Small, all drinks included, 98 well-behaved, well-traveled, quiet passengers with just a couple of older kids.  Destination was the Galapagos so it was a a nearly perfect trip.

We did a short 3- or 4-day charter on her, back in early Dec. 2009

Gorgeous ship inside! but not the friendliest crew (back then)

For nostalgia it would be Celebrity Mercury, as it was our first. We are currently enjoying the Solstice line with Celebrity.

Hi Mike, I loved that ship too:classic_smile:....the one thing that was too funky though, the size of that Martini Bar? If you recall,

it was teeney…...4 bar stools and then they had the small tables.   But overall, I loved her.

Actually, CENTURY, MERCURY and GALAXY will always be 3 of my favorite ships ever.

Wow, that venue has come a long way over the years.  This is the Martini Bar on Edge.

My fav is Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas;  so much to see and do.  That's a large ship.  My fav small ship or at least smaller ship than Allure would be Emerald Princess.

Disney Wonder

Been on it four times on a bunch of different itineraries and every time it was a very enjoyable experience.  It is a decent size ship with a good amount of facilities that really give a unique experience

Ours is the Renaissance R4, South Pacific sailing, 2001.  Wonderful ship, great crew and food, and breathtaking scenery...made lots of friends, fond memories...sigh.  (We still have the key chains and fanny pack we won from trivia...regrettably, Renaissance Cruises went bankrupt.)

Until our last cruise, it was always SS Oriana. Now it is Viking Sun.

I don't have a favorite ship.  I like just about all of them.  I do enjoy settings similar to Crooners on the Grand Princess ships.  Ships that have places like that are my favorites.  😄

Norwegian Breakaway - We sailed past Lady Liberty on the way to Bermuda.  On that cruise, all the staff were so friendly and attentive.  I loved all the different dining options.

One which floats.......... LOL

The Golden Princess spent almost 100 nights on her.... love skywalkers and any aft suite

Also the crew has always be great.... a lot of wonderful memories

Out of 50 + cruises, I would choose the Symphony of the Seas as the most desirable.  MSC Seaside gets 2nd place.

If I can sail Celebrity Edge this December, that might challenge the top two choices.

I am obviously biased towards newer and larger builds.
