Just submitted my first ever Early Saver claim today, $38. Not very much but I'll take it. (It was processed surprisingly quickly, too.)

I was surprised at how quickly mine was processed!

My cruise has been continuously been going down. I am well before final payment and the first time I called I was told that since I didn’t book ES I can’t get price drops. I called back 3 days later and got $80 OBC. The next two times I called I was told again no price drops. It’s down $218 now so I submitted the form since you can’t call and it was denied. So what’s the right answer? Can you get price drops before final payment without an ES rate? I’d like to at least upgrade at this point but can’t because of the phones being down.

Most fare codes can get a price drop before final payment. But a few can't (such as some, maybe all, casino rates). However, it seems that sometimes people have gotten rate drops they technically didn't qualify for.

thank you so much for this! I was on the phone for so long when I should have came here first. I completed the form and in less than two hours, the price was adjusted and I received OBC!!!!!!!!!

Glad I could help! I have received price adjustments several times using the online form, one time it didn’t work out but I was able to call and fix it easily.  Right now it is the way to go for sure, doesn’t seem right to me that people are tying up the lines trying to get the price drops while others are feeling desperate to get their shortly upcoming cruises cancelled and possibly rescheduled.

I just did another price drop last night for my rescheduled and now July cruise, got the confirmation within 30 minutes, $140 adjustment, yay!

Here is the link again for online price adjustments:
