Encore May 5 dubai/athens now cancelled

Have just had an email from Seabourn cancelling our May 5th sailing from Dubai to Athens. At least it is a bit more notice than other cruises. I feel for the  crew and wonder what the ship is going to do in the meantime

Interesting for those of us booked on Encore out of Athens May 23. That cruise is still showing on the website but no other Encore cruises in the Med. before that.  I assume Seabourn are just hastily working through their options in an ever changing world. I don't envy them the task.

I am now chasing refunds for private excursions in Petra and Israel.  JHT said the Petra tour will be refunded.  No word from Israel yet.  I assume the tour companies are swamped with like requests.  I am glad I don't have to worry about air refunds as flights were booked thru SB.

Encore is now out of service from March 22 (arrival in Sydney) to May 23 (departure from Athens).
