If only one of us goes on the cruise....

...What will get refunded for the no-show person? My DH is considering not going on our cruise next week. I know in these situations you normally get the port taxes and gratuities refunded for the no-show person.  Will I also get the gratuities for his bar package back?  Thanks!

The answer to your question is yes, you’re owed the gratuity on the dining and beverage packages.

 

I returned 2/15 from my Escape sailing for which my sister was a no show.  I was told that I would receive a refund of the taxes, prepaid gratuities, dining package gratuity, and beverage package gratuity.  So far, I have received nothing and I am unable to speak with anyone in accounting to follow up as to when I may expect my refund since it wasn’t received the middle of this week as I was told.  I understand that they’re processing a huge number of refunds and cancellations due to the current crisis but my refund should have already been processed.
 

Sorry for my rant but I needed to vent 😁
