RCCL not extending Prime cruise exp date

So after being on hold with Club Royale for 2+ hours- and speaking to a supervisor-  they will not allow me to move my free Prime cruise (which THEY cancelled) to a May cruise date.  They said i just get the port fees back and lose the cruise benefit.  I think this is very unfair.  I earned it and they should extend the ability to rebook this cruise within the next couple of months anyway  since they needed to cancel the cruises.  What is your opinion.  Of course i understand they needed to shut down but i still theink they need to honor this.

I agree but I also think they will be sending comps out once they start sailing again. The cruise industry has taken a huge hit in the mainstream media so they will be looking to get people onboard and the first people they will be looking at will be casino players and people known to only book suites and/or known to spend a lot of money onboard.
I am still getting monthly offers from RCCL but am curious to see if any get sent on April 1st. Also you can reach out to a junket company and book that way.

I too am getting a lot of compd cruises, but my gutt feeling is that it will take quite some time before any ships start sailing again. The cruise industry will wait until the medical field has a grip on this virus and a vaccine for everyone. They don't want anymore ships stuck at sea with sick passengers and all of the bad press that goes with it. Let's just hope they don't go bankrupt first!
