How to get to my FCC?

I was on a cancelled NCL cruise departing next Saturday. I am taking the 125% FCC but how do I actually find it? Will it show up in my NCL profile somewhere?  We have chosen our new dates and want to hold them but I don't want to put down a $2,000 deposit that will be covered by the FCC.

Thank you!

I have never seen my FCC - it just is somewhere on your account that you can't see. All I know is that it was recently applied to my next cruise and I just was told how much I had verbally with NCL and my TA on the phone.

@bonvoyagie.  I agree with you, never been able to find it.   BUT to @crhunt01 get on the phone to Reservations in Miami and make your reservation through them.  They will have access to your FCC situation.

Dang .. somewhere along the line I was told or read that I would see it under My Account and it would below the area that would show booked cruises.  Sucks if you can't actually see it for yourself to know it is there.   I was hoping that I would't have to call NCL to check on this.

But is it there if you don't have a cruise booked?

That is how I understood it, that it is just in that window area below the area that either shows a booking or says you have no cruises booked.  I have been looking and nothing there but I haven't been expecting mine to show up this soon anyway since they said minimally 7 days from the actual cancel date.

I just did a 'mock' booking and went all the way to the end and I notice that in the selection for payment it has a coupon option, which is grayed out for me, but I wonder if that could be a way to use the FCC online (or at the very least see if it is on your account?  Maybe this is only for the Cruise Next coupons though.

Oh well, I will just keep fiddling around and wait it out to call NCL when i think the FCC 'should' be there. I am a 'welcome back' NCL cruiser as I have been sailing Celebrity so I am newly acquainting myself with NCL online which we know evolves all the time, Celebrity I know well but even that is a moving target with constant site changes 🙂

I called NCL. You have to call back on March 23 to get your options of cash, or FCC. I had a cruise leaving on April 5 that was cancelled. I am a CAS player so they gave me a new time and date but still had to put down a $250 deposit with all the Freebies. Once I received my FCC then I can apply that to what I owed.  I did upgrade to better category so I know for sure my FCC will be used in full (my calculations of 125%). 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am also a CAS player and just had 2 cruises cancelled. I called CAS twice this weekend to get info on the FCC. Got two different answers , with first being 125% of total cruise cost, and second(yesterday) they told me they couldn't determine the value. Has anyone received more clarity in how this works?

CAS is closed on the weekends so you spoke to the main reservation people......  I would call CAS back today and confirm they are actually CAS. Sometimes they're so busy that the lines are forwarded to the main reservation people and you get Non-CAS info

I am pretty sure I booked a new cruise through CAS yesterday, so I don't think they are closed weekends.

I originally called NCL to ask if part of a future cruise credit could be used to pay for excursions on the future cruise. I talked to an excursion person, but the woman couldn't answer that question. She said this was all new. I pointed out that people had received FCCs in the past and asked how it worked. She had no clue.

After that, I called and got connected to CAS. I wanted to ask about booking a replacement cruise for my cancelled March 29th Caribbean cruise that I had booked through CAS. While we were talking, I mentioned to her that besides having had that cruise cancelled, I was also disappointed that due to the Twin River, RI casino having been closed Friday, I had not been able to pick up the free cruise voucher they were giving out on Saturday. She said she could see my voucher and read off all the choices I had. I booked a cruise to Bermuda, that may or may not happen, using the voucher.

March 23rd I will call to get a refund of my money from my cancelled cruise, and keep an out eye for possible trips to replace my cancelled Caribbean cruise. I had received only a discount through CAS on that one, so I had ended up spending a lot of money on it including balcony upgrade, four excursions and two thermal suite passes.

The number I have for is CAS is 888-785-8259. Is that what you used? I also have a new certificate for pick up on March 20 from a local casino, and the rep I spoke to said to contact my host, there was nothing she could do🤔

I called 888-445-5231 press 2 for help with existing cruise, then press 4 for CAS. You may have to wait until the 20th for them to see your choices. The woman I spoke to was very helpful. She priced out a cruise that was not on my voucher, and said I could get a discount instead of using one of the voucher choices. I ended up using one of the voucher choices.

The CAS people on week-end aren't the main CAS agents in Miami.  The week-end people in Arizona office can book your land-based casino comps.    Very nice that they found your casino voucher and got you taken care of!

I'm waiting to see what I am going to do about our April 5th cancelled cruise.  It was a CAS comped cruise so I just have my Admin Fees and Port Fees to get back as Cash or FCC.  If they have to give you back the two Cruise Next certificates that made up the majority of my payment, I would only have a small amount to be refunded.

I have never heard them refer to the FCC as CruiseNext certs, these are two totally different things.  Everything they have communicated, to include FAQ, is referring to the FCC as a single return to be used as a whole and not broken up in any way.  Sounds more like a bank of credit that you can use all on one booking, if booking is less that what is in the credit then the remainder could be used on another booking later.

The CAS side of things of things, the free cruise voucher, is something different and when I called they had options to replace but with the new suspended cruises I think that might be altered too.

I just called to try and see about booking a new cruise.  Originally had a land based casino offer cruise on March 22nd.  Yesterday when I called to get details, it seemed like I could book, pay a deposit, then apply my FCC toward the balance owed once I received that (minus certain things I was told the FCC won't cover).  Today I found the cruises I was interested in, called, and once I got through, was told I absolutely couldn't book any cruise to which I would then want to apply the FCC to until I actually received the credit.  Not even if I put down a deposit.  She even said this applies to anyone trying to book who has future CC coming.

I wasn't saying that I thought that FCC is the same as Cruise Next.   I was saying that the majority of my cancelled cruise was paid for by two Cruise Next certificates- at total of $500 that cost me a net $250.    I'm guessing they will just return those two certificates to me for future use.   That would leave the $221 I paid by credit card  for either refund or 125% FCC.   I realize that  I'm in a much better place than those who paid big $$ for upgrades,, beverage packages, etc. and have bigger decisions to make about refunds versus FCC!

In my case, my cruise was comped by CAS directly so I'm pretty sure they will re-book for me at any time.   Might be tougher for those of you using a land-based casino cruise voucher.  I hope they allow you the option to extend those.🤞

According to the rep I spoke to yesterday, land based certificates for cancelled by NCL cruises may now be used through March 31st, 2020.  The cruise must sail prior to December 31, 2021, and you may only book a cruise leaving from a same port with a same itinerary and a same number of maximum nights as on your original certificate.  The ship itself doesn't matter.

I just called NCL as I cancelled my cruise leaving March20 a day before they cancelled. Couldn’t find my FCC but the very nice woman for NCL. Told me that I will find it under my latitude section. Not there yet. Cancelled a week ago!
good luck

I was told yesterday that the FCCs will not be available until 10-12 business days AFTER your scheduled sail date. In your case, the earliest the FCC will be available will be April 3rd. I'm in the same position as I had a cruise scheduled for 3/21 and have to wait also.

But did you cancel yours under Peace of Mind or did NCL cancel it?  This is two different situations and I would expect to be treated as such, much like I had no choice over refund.  If you got the above answer for Peace of Mind then this is just another version being told by the agents and at this point I don't believe anything they say.  They are either misinformed or misinterpreting.

I will believe reality when the first people report getting them.

Ya I knew you cancelled like me, but wondered if coastalbreezes did that as I am suspecting theirs was NCL canceled which is different.  As we know, diffferent scenarios exist but people are posting answers as if all results will be the same and apply the same. They may, but I don't expect that to be the case and calls to NCL will have answers specific to each situation so good to know.  It all starts to blurr here.

Just want to clarify...those stipulations are for CAS bookings, correct? If not, then if NCL is limiting the FCCs that much, then it sounds like the refund is a much better choice. We weren't booked through CAS.

That is CAS bookings ... the poster states 'land based certificates' referring to casino certificates and it is those that are limited.  The FCC is separate and should show in NCL account and limitations will be more based on what items it can be applied to in the booking.
