How long will the refund take?

I have now been waiting 120 days for refund, travel agent just keeps saying to be patient, but to be honest my patience is waring thin. Not sure where to go with this now.

I feel very fortunate.  I cancelled our June '21 cruise but it only took six days for the deposit refund to hit our credit card.  Guess they caught up with the demand?

Deposit only refunds seem to come through much faster similar timeframe  to pre-pandemic.   Refunds for the suspended cruises take much longer.

Recently cancelled B2B cruises in January//February 2021 (including the Mardi Gras cruise).  I had paid the refundable deposits.  Celebrity rep told TA it would take 4-5 weeks.   THREE days later - deposits were credited back to credit card.  Was very surprised.

 

Not sure when I will cruise again.

Cancelled our Jan 4 2021 Reflection cruise before final payment on Sept 30th, and received the deposit refund, and Premium Beverage upgrade refund to our credit card on Oct 6th, just seven days later.

 

Quite surprised, but only $82 total refund, because our deposit was only $50, and the beverage upgrade was only $32, (used OBC for part of the cost), so not a lot of money to be refunded.

Has anybody else been waiting 5 months for a refund in UK? I had paid in full and the cruise was cancelled in June. Has anyone else experienced this long a wait. I have told the travel agent this isn't acceptable but they keep fobbing me off.
