I have spoken directly with crew onboard now and this is confirmed by all of them at least as far as the ships in the Bahamas.

 

The Diamond has a skeleton crew that boarded after all the passengers/crew disembarked for when/if the ship is moved for its extensive cleaning. These crew volunteered to man the ship and have new contracts that address that time onboard. 

This may be the same for the Grand as I have not seen/heard any info in regards to future manning cleaning etc. 

 

Princess did announce that they were giving the crew 2 months pay during all of this. I am sure that will be or has been revisited.

As far as their pay/benefits and such IMO it is none of our business.

Thanks for the information. Regarding pay/benefits I simply was hoping they were still receiving them. Not what they are. I hope they have health benefits.

The irony to all of this is that a cruise ship is now probably become the safest place to avoid the virus.

It was so great to see the Sky crew at sail-away and now having a beach day!

Good work on the part of Princess to recognize their employees and I hope they all had a great well deserved experience.

Thank  you to the Sky crew. We were fortunate to meet many of you on our January 4th sailing.
