Looking On he Bright Side of Covid-19

Recommended Posts

I was thinking about this after I got out of bed this morning and was getting dressed. Here you can post your little joys that have come from the restrictions and protocols we have been requested to follow.

So here's my contribution to kick off.

With "social distancing" we can save on deodorant.

Don't bother going to get your haircut. Hairdressers are allowed to stay open, but they have to observe social distancing. I find it difficult to understand how they can cut someone's hair while observing social distancing. 😁

Yeah, I know,😉 it probably means keeping the customers apart. I don't think that will be a problem because there won't be many customers.

I just had a No.2 haircut, normally get a No.5, only took 5 minutes.   No ladies having a blue rinse etc, time in salon limited to 30 minutes.  No where to go to show off their 'hair do's anyway, the Golfie and Rissole are closed up.   Bingo players and Pokie addicts have withdrawal symptoms already.  My No.2 cut might have to last 6 months, should have got a No.1

And another. Heard on the radio yesterday.

A football referee at the end of a game instructed the players not to shake hands.

Did they kiss instead? 😁

I do, they have hookers in there so anything and everything can happen.

I've never shaken hands, nor anything else with a hooker.. 😉

We are hairdresser and mechanic by trades, although we don't work in the professions now, we will be good for haircuts and oil changes!!

I have realised how much toilet paper I was wasting!

Realising I don't need to get groceries all the time, I reckon we will manage fortnightly.

I am not wasting half as much stuff, freezing food, making enough for a few meals.

I talk to the kids more on the phone!

I haven't been out in the car since last Friday, so day 5 for me.
