Our  current confirmations from Celebrity have a grid with the cancellation percentages towards the bottom  of the page....looks like this:

After that grid  it lists Promotions Applied

 

It is very clear ours are fully refundable, including the suite!

 

Sorry.. I  did not know that all res  confirmations had that schedule. I  was  evidently confused between cancellation  penalties and the deposit issue. So what is the max deposit one may lose...ex, if dep was $ 500 or $900?  If you cancel late in the game, you lose  even more including the deposit?  

 

  I did re check our  res in the areas pointed out by Jim.. Happy there isn't any  Non Refundable language or codes.  We book only non- ref and would be upset if we didn't receive what we requested. Costs more but we prefer the flexibility.

With a NRD after final payment the full deposit has been applied to the payment so it's the same as a refundable deposit and you are penalized according to the schedule you listed.

 

Prior to final payment you forfeit $100 pp and receive the rest in the form of a FCC.

UPDATE - my soon-to-be former travel agent has released the two bookings.  Celebrity is in the process of moving them back to Celebrity.  I was advised to give it a week or so and call back.

I just cancelled our July 4th Equinox. I didn’t want to gamble with $10000. If the cruise line declares bankruptcy, we’d get nothing. 

Sad sad day.
