Crown or Emerald-Panama

I would choose the Emerald over the Crown.  We were on both ships recently and the Emerald was much nicer.  The Crown looked like it could use a dry dock overhaul.  We are booked again on the Emerald for March 2021 through the Panama Canal from Fort Lauderdale to Vancouver.  Also, the Emerald didn’t seem to be quite as crowded as the Crown was.

The 2 ships are nearly identical (both "Crown Class") and are only 1 year apart in age:  Crown Princess maiden voyage was in June 2006.  Emerald Princess entered service in April 2007.  We've been on both several times and prefer them to the Royal/Regal.

We've been on both and like both ships. My preference leans towards the Emerald, but that's because we absolutely love SHARE and we don't get to cruise on a ship that has SHARE often. It happens to be a restaurant we love, but sooo many do not.

We have been on both also. I would not go again. Also prefer Regal.

😊 We have been on the Regal, Royal and Caribbean Princess

Never the Crown class

The Ruby/Emerald/Crown are most similar to the Caribbean.  The latter has some slightly different public deck space arrangement as to where you find things, but essentially the same ship with a small number of cabin differences.
