Following on from his previous posts I would suggest that poster was being facetious and intended to mention Zaandam (not Volendam).

About 10 days ago, Carnival Corp offered their ships as hospital ships but to date, none have been identified.  At the time you were on the ship, it was nothing more than an offer to the government....as it still is today.
