Questions for those who had their cruises cancelled by NCL

What is the time frame that NCL cancelled the cruise versus sail date and can anyone report how long it took to get "cash refund" if they've already received it from an NCL cancelled cruise?

8 days notice in our case, advised 14th March for 22nd March cruise. Still no refund to date.

Check back again in July when some refunds might have been processed.

NCL is saying 90 days for refund.

Hi Warm Water Diver,

On March 13 at 7:10 AM I received an email that NCL cancelled my 22 day Norwegian Jade sailing that was scheduled to depart Dubai at 11PM on March 18. Thankfully, I received the email before my international flight left from JFK in NYC.
As far as a refund goes, Norwegian Cruiseline is alleging that I cancelled my cruise! I was scheduled for a back-to-back sailing April 9-19 as well on the Norwegian Jade out of Rome so no way was I cancelling anything. I knew from CruiseCritic to wait for Norwegian to cancel which is exactly what I did so I’d be eligible for a full refund. Something fishy is going on in their corporation just so they don’t have to issue refunds!
