It burned aboard Carnival Cruise's ship Mardi Gras, which is currently being built on the shipyard. The fire occurred in a cabin on the upper deck, and they managed to limit the fire to one cabin. In total, 18 fire brigade units were sent from the rescue service to the shipyard, but the fire could quickly be extinguished by the shipyard's own fire brigade.

However, the ship must be checked to make sure there were no firefighters left anywhere. All workers were evacuated from the ship, but no one was injured in the fire.

Very hot work is being done on the ship, but the cause of the fire is still unclear.
The alarm came shortly after 9 o'clock.

unfortunately this is common is almost all forms of constructions. most likely it could caused by welding. other ships had similar minor fire incidents in the past

usually caused by a worker cutting corners and not having proper fire watch on both sides of the bulkhead they are hot working on.
