George C Posted May 7 #120927 Share Posted May 7 51 minutes ago, Ourusualbeach said: I will be posting pics from around the ship The one I am in is the entry level suite. All stataterooms on the ship are suites. These are all oceanfront terrace suites and there are 4 categories based on location with the ones on deck 6 having a deeper balcony. All are 300 Sq ft with a 75 Sq ft balcony (larger on deck 6) From there you jump to the Penthouse suites ranging in size from 400 Sq ft to 700 Sq ft and then to the residences which go up to 1600 Sq ft and then the owners suite which has its own infinity pool and is 3000 Sq ft All suites basically have the same perks. Have you cruised MSc yacht club if so how does it compare with your current cruise . I know you mentioned it was somewhat in the MSc family. The size seems similar to sky suite on celebrity E class. I guess if one was going to a party would do the same. Probably right, lots of marina around here and people fishing. Boats everywhere.

Maybe to open an oyster or clam or pick meat out of crabs? Not correct, anyone else care to guess?

I have not experienced yacht club however with just 530.people on board and 700 crew the service is impeccable. Even full at 800 to 900 guests would not change the level of service thet is provided. When you consider what is provided the cost is actually reasonable if you do some comparisons to a suite on Royal or Celebrity. There are some great rates for 2025 Caribbean sailings.

FromSea2ShiningSea Posted May 7 #120938 Share Posted May 7 Day 2- 4/10/2024 Shimizu, Japan Mount Fuji- What an awesome sight to wake up to this morning Today’s excursion is taking us to Shiraito & Otodome Water Falls Sengentaisha Shrine- built over 1000 years ago for protection from volcanic eruptions. In ancient times, the shrine was a traditional starting point for climbing Mount Fuji. Climbers visited the shrine to pray and purify themselves in the shrine’s Wakutama Pond before making the ascent. Mount Fuji Museum- There is a simulated ascent to the top of the summit. Sailing away from Shimizu For @Ocean Boy My stateroom attendant delivers this for us being Elite members 25
Luckynana Posted May 7 #120939 Share Posted May 7 The Roofers arrived here at 7:00 am this morning and began working right away. They are still here, (6:08 pm) and plan on finishing the job this evening, due to the weather forecast of rain for the next two or more days. They originally thought they would only be able to finish the house roof, but they were able to get a few more workers over here. House is done, 3 Season room done, garage almost all done, and attached apartment is almost finished.😉

Luckynana Posted May 7 #120941 Share Posted May 7 @FromSea2ShiningSea Wow...Mount Fuji is so impressive. Awesome, awesome pictures, Helen! I didn't realize you get a rose for being Elite. I thought the rose in our cabin on Beyond was from our cabin steward since we gave him all of our chocolate covered strawberries that were delivered to our cabin from a friend of ours! LOL!😊 4

We have several of those big ice things near me. We do have fishing here, but some don't seem to be for fishing and rather just to get ice, like you would get a bag in a grocery store. Some are in front of convenience stores, and some are stand alone with nothing near them. They are all "Twice The Ice" from Ice House America, so there must be a profit in these things. Pictures from street view on Google Maps: This one is near a marina and is more likely for fishing:

They brought Miss Zoey for us to watch while they go to a conference in Texas. Brandon can only get his continuing education at conferences. There are no books with mail in tests. So upon arrival Sunday. ZZZZZOEY threw up and had a blow out. Temp 102.5. Broke with Tylenol and hovered around 99.2 Mom and dad had to go. Sluggish. Only eating fruit loops and Lorna dunes. Drink milk and also giving her formula to get nutrients. Today the rash ROSEOLA. And play time. And the appetite resumed Chicken McNugget pasta corn rice strawberries Blueberries She ate very well.
