Is this really the new going rate?

They just added drink packages to my Harmony cruise for March.  The refreshment package is showing at $45.22 CAD and the soda package is $17.96 CAD.  That's pretty high.

But the deluxe package....get this....is $118.37 CAD!  Say what?!?!?

 

A new high record.  Anyone else seeing these kind of prices?

Crazy.  $89 USD is about $126 CAD.  Wow!

 

For our CAD price to USD, that would be $83.34 USD.

Yes, they just opened up some drink packages and Voom for my January and March cruises and they are crazy $$$.  Nope, nope and more nope.

Ha ha....so true.  It's all relative.  Even makes my Mariner deluxe cost at $91 look not so bad.

 

Hurts even more loosing those $18 drink packages (or $23 CAD for us).

My deluxe package says it's starting from $72 a day x 9 days.

Currently $48 a day for my 15niter on Jewel Nov2020. but I dont drink anyway. Also $28 for Refreshment(Grat not inc in these rates)... For my Nov2020 Vision B2B 11/10niters Deluxe is $52 and Refresh at $28, same as other this is base without Grats and rates are USD

I noticed that several days ago the exchange rate was raised and the excursions for my Hawaiian  jumped  12 to 15$.  Another reason I`m probably going to cancel.  Most are  over $200 to as much as $700+.  They were too expensive before.

Very true. The exchange rate is pretty awful right now, so that doesn't help.

That's pretty good as those prices seem like numbers of the past. Maybe because they are longer sailing.

I was on the Grandeur 2/06/20 and the package was $18. Couldn't resist, we lucked out and caught the glitch. that will be the only time we buy it.

On my Anthem cruise for Dec, the Floating Cabana is $5318 CAD. Who would pay that?

Us too .. except we lost the March cruise. We also have it for our August cruise, but I have a feeling that one will be a no go too.

$4000 for a floating Cabana. That's more than my mortgage payment which includes school tax ,property tax and homeowners insurance.

A mountain of new debt and no real money coming in for a month, and maybe longer. The money to pay that off and keep sailing  has to come from somewhere. You can’t be surprised.
