Aerialist Shows In Centrum

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Does anyone know if Royal Caribbean still has the aerialist show in the centrum that were retrofitted and added on the Grandeur and Radiance class ships?

Thank you!

Various guesses:

They couldn't find enough riggers.  (the guys who manipulate the ropes for the aerialists).  a. because they are using lots of riggers on the big ships   b. there are too many versions of Cirque du Soleil around the globe using them.  c. they were going to open a school to train their own riggers

The viewing area was too small.  Not enough passengers could see the show at one time.

They were too expensive.

I can't remember other guesses right now.  Quarantine brain.

I saw these show

son the Serenade about 6 years ago.  Two years later they were not on the Jewel.

In addition to the other answers there said that the reason was due to too many cancelations because of rough seas

Grandeur had them until a few years ago.  We saw them a few times on GR, but long gone is right.  They started doing a floor show version when they dropped the aerialist show.  I heard the issue was finding riggers.  You can't just use anyone.  They needed people who knew what they were doing to protect the aerialists.
