Atlantis: closed until at least June 11th

While Atlantis was accepting reservations as recently as last week for May 16th and later, the Marriott website now shows the entire resort blacked out for any check-in date earlier than June 11th.    Baha Mar and in-town hotels are taking early June reservations (very optimistic of them!).

 

Atlantis is not booking day passes at all.

We are scheduled to fly to Nassau on Bahamas air in July and stay at the Atlantis, but right now even those dates are on hold.

Is there a date set that Nassau will be open to tourists? If so, would Freeport be open as well?  TIA!

Atlantis is taking July reservations, seems overly optimistic

 

I've been following news articles on Tribune242, there's definite pressure to reopen Nassua sooner than later, even without the cruise ship traffic essential to Freeport's economy.

We just got word that the Atlantis will be closed at least until the end of July.
