So i booked a concierge penthouse for July 25th 2021. My NCL account no longer shows my cabin type on my summery. I noticed that the Concierge family Villa staterooms are now in the Haven category. Stateroom 14776 was concierge, now its Haven with a huge price jump. I tried to contact my PCC she hasn't called back yet..

I'm looking to book a Concierge suite also and noticed that category shows as 'sold out'. NCL seems to be revising that category.  The cruise I wanted was within my budget but if NCL moves it into Haven then don't know. I hope I won't miss out b/c I waited a day or two too long to book.

So, in another group a person showed a screen shot of her concierge cabin 14202 which was concierge and is now Haven. It even shows Haven on her reservation. Not sure they will be doing that to all categories though. There would be way to many...

That would be really bad.  There are 80ish Haven staterooms on the Joy which consume all of the resources (concierge staff, restaurant, sundeck, courtyard). There are 80ish additional Concierge staterooms which were handled by a different concierge, no butler, Cuccina for breakfast and lunch. If they are going to try and jam 160 staterooms using the Haven resources, it will not be a Haven experience.

If they jack up the prices and give concierge class access to the Haven, there will definitely be a revolt.  Inviting so many more cabins and so many more kids into the Haven just ruined the experience.
LMAO

Just another reason to avoid the Joy.

I completely agree! I am pretty sure they moved one category over not sure about the other 4...

We thought the Joy was already crowded in Haven.  If they add concierge into there, it will terrible.
The Joy, in general, is already an overcrowded ship.  Everytime we ventured out of Haven, it was extremely packed.
The casino was fine, because it seemed like no one on our Panama canal cruise really spent time in the casino.  But everywhere else, crazy packed.

I decided to check several months of Joy cruises and they showed ALL Concierge cabins as 'sold out'.

Maybe they are changing the name/type of all Concierge cabins like they are changing Mini Suites to Club Suites. Perhaps they will move some of them to Haven and change the others to 'Club'.

(Cruise Radio reported Travel Agents told Mini Suites will be changing to Club Suites on April 15th).

It was mentioned some time ago, that NCL wanted to reduce butler service to certain cabins.  It's possible that they are restructuring some cabin services.  They are eliminating 'free spa' services to Haven Spa rooms and maybe butler service to these cabins as well.  NCL could reduce butler service to all cabins outside 'Haven proper' while using Room Stewards to make 'room service' deliveries.   If they move the 'Joy Concierge' class into Haven, they could then charge the higher Haven 'Tip" amounts & higher room charge.  Concierge class - access to Haven courtyard ??? Just some thoughts ....

Some of the Concierge cabin inventory is reappearing.  They are now classified simply as "Suites", consistent with the non-Haven cabins on Jewel class ships.

My category was reclassified as Haven!

We sail Nov 14th, was a CA 14778, now shows HI. From what my agent said and the web, looks like they only made the CA (now HI) and CB (now HJ) cabins Havens so added a total of 30 additional Haven cabins. CC, CF are now penthouse SC and family SP suites. The mini suites MA are now broken into 2 - M4 Fam Club balcony suite and MA Club balcony suite.

Ugh! This is so disappointing. We are doing a family cruise and now 2 rooms are Haven and 1 is a Suite so we can no longer enjoy the same amenities together. And of course the prices have gone up significantly to switch to a Haven cabin so we can all be together.

Will be interesting to see what the differences are in the Suite amenities vs what they previously were as Concierge.

Wow, with all these reclassified cabins the Haven courtyard area is going to be a ***** show! I was already avoiding this ship due to the lack of thermal suite but now I’ll definitely never sail her.

I wonder if you could call NCL and explain, especially since you booked prior to the category change and see if they will upgrade the 3rd cabin? Or allow them to have the same amenities as the other two? You want the family to be able to do things together and the way it was booked, you all were the same. You don’t want to leave one cabin out.

I see my reservation for Concierge Penthouse for 10/4/20 has been upgraded to Haven Penthouse (same stateroom) and price today is $800 PP more than we booked.  We started out in regular balcony for 4/19/20 which was cancelled, with 125% FCC and 20% discount we got into Concierge for no additional cost.  And now we're in Haven!  Probably our only Haven cruise ever, but I know we'll enjoy it as a special treat.

I'm glad I came upon this thread.

I haven't sailed Norwegian for quite a while.  And like so many others I have time on my hands.  I was 'looking at cruises in January and wondered what Club class was.  Then I saw Concierge class.  Now what is that?

I have sort of figured it out, that Club and Concierge class are just new names for the old mini suite category.  Am I correct?  Do they have any suite benefits, at all?

It is unlikely that the 3rd stateroom would get access unless the people in the 3rd stateroom are relocated to a different suite that has Haven access.

It's similar to when 3 couples book 3 staterooms and 2 win a bid to the Haven. The 3rd couple doesn't get access automatically.

All 3 can enjoy what they would've had if the first 2 avoid the Haven. 😜

Mini-suite aka Club Balcony (whatever) doesn't get anything "suite".

Concierge gets some minor amenities but not Haven access. Some former Concierge Suites have been reclassified as Haven suites.

EDIT

"Club Suites will will feature a variety of onboard amenities including: ability to pre-book onboard entertainment and dining at 125 days prior to sailing, delivery of a food and beverage amenity twice per sailing, 1 laundry bag or pressing service per sailing, and 1 bottle of sparkling wine." - posted by another CC member.

It isn't much but it's better than nothing over a standard balcony.

I was looking at a 7 day cruise for next year on the Joy in a Concierge CB cabin. I just checked and it's now $1500. more. Big jump in price.

It looks like NCL took the CA & CB class and moved them into Haven which have Haven & concierge access but NO butler service.

The other 2  CC & CD classes became Suites and the "concierge service" has been removed. The only thing these cabins get looks like a bigger cabin period.

I feel really bad that I didn't book that cruise a week ago at the lower price. Plus would have automatically been upgraded to Haven status.

Got an email from NCL and yes the Concierge rooms which were upgraded to Haven DO get a butler, access to the Haven dining and pool, white tablecloth in-room dining, evening turndown service, escorts on and off ship.  Pretty cool, if you only paid for Concierge class.
