gwiblong Posted April 30, 2020 #4 Share Posted April 30, 2020 CANCELLED CRUISE REFUND QE Circumnavigation of Japan Q013. 20/04/2020 - 29/04/2020 08/10/2018 Booked and deposit paid via phone to Cunard UK 13/01/2020 Balance paid via Cunard website 08/02/2020 Booked and paid for one shore excursion via UK Cunard website 19/02/2020 Email received from Cunard to cancel cruise 20/02/2020 Full refund for cruise received back onto credit card. I did not have to request a refund 26/02/2020 Full refund for shore excursion received onto credit card. I did not have to request a refund I have booked another cruise and received an allowance of 25% of the cost of the cancelled cruise I telephoned BA when my outward flight to Japan was cancelled and had a refund back to my card within 48 hours for both the outward and return flights. I cancelled 4 hotels in Japan and had refunds within 72 hours. I telephoned my bank and the credit balance was transferred to my current account. Rare 3rdGenCunarder Posted May 4, 2020 #6 Share Posted May 4, 2020 May 6, QM2 TA. Fully paid. Cancelled March 6 (through TA). No FCC, no refund. TA says it could be up to 90 days, despite Cunard saying 60 days. Because of the UK shutdown, I have received refunds from nonrefundable play tickets and nonrefundable train tickets. Hotel deposits were always refundable. The ONLY part of my trip not yet refunded is Cunard. (Air through Cunard, too, so I didn't have to deal with the airline).
