FaithPlus1 Posted April 30, 2020 #1 Share Posted April 30, 2020 I know solarium is open to kids when the temperature isn't high and/or in bad weather. That said, in every daily compass I have seen for their Alaskan cruises, they have always allowed them to kids. Is this typical for RC's Alaskan cruises, or were they just in the daily compasses that I saw? I don't hate kids, but I just would rather relax in quiet instead of having a kid snorkeling around me (and unfortunately the high end to luxurious cruise lines are out of my budget). Blizzard54 Posted April 30, 2020 #2 Share Posted April 30, 2020 As I recall it is only open for kids for a couple hours per day.
stevea36 Posted April 30, 2020 #3 Share Posted April 30, 2020 If the sailing is on a quantum class ship the ship has an indoor pool in addition to the solarium (and an outdoor pool) The indoor pool is open for everyone and the solarium is limited to 16 and over. gerif Posted April 30, 2020 #4 Share Posted April 30, 2020 We sailed Alaska in August. While the solarium was open to kids for limited times, I don’t recall adults ever using the pool. Maybe the hot tub. For me, it was way too cold to even consider putting on a bathing suit.
Kelli0927 Posted May 2, 2020 #5 Share Posted May 2, 2020 On our Alaskan cruise on radiance, family swim time was something like 2-4 each day. This may have varied on port days. Still plenty of time for adults only.
